  • Anyone tried a Vintage Rhythm Stack?

I'm needing a hum cancelling neck pickup for my tele, but have heard varying reports about these pickups. Anyone here tried one? If so whats your opinion? I'm not realy after the 'vintage' tele sound, so what are the characteristics of the PUP?

    Cheers

I have a Vintage Stack in my Teles neck slot and I like it a lot. They do sound lke a Tele neck pickup though, which is great for me but maybe not so great if you aren't terribly fond of that tone in the first place.

If you don't like the tone of a traditional Tele neck pickup you might want to consider getting a different pickguard and then mounting one of the Strat neck replacement pickups in there. The lil59n model would be a great candidate for killer HB Tele neck tones.
