Hi there! Hope you guys can help me decide what PU to buy. Problem is Im not satisfied w/ the Pickups.
Here's my gear:
My guitar is a Washburn P2 (Les Paul-ish type) Mahogany w/ Maple top.
Amp: Peavey Bandit 112 80watts.
Sound:
I want that Zakk Wylde Crunch, like in Black Label Society. How can I achieve that tone.
Im into that dark low end punch, but would still give me enough highs for pinch harmonics in the strings at lower frets, thats what Im into. squeal like a pig!
My fear is that I would end up w/ a PU that can give those squeals but too thin sounding for riffs & chords.
