just wanna share with you guys. 5-2 in neck and mid and hotrails in bridge. the 5-2s are amazing very stratty spongy sounding. no mud at all and every note sounds fat. imo they give me the perfect neck single coil sound. the hotrails are alright. sounds very 80ish. bridge mid together gives a unique tone but still stratty sounding. so why do i like this combo??? versatility, i can do anything with these pups, but i mainly play fusion and shred stuff with them. also the hotrails and the 5-2s are a very good match eq wise as the setting on my amp sounds good with the hotrails and the 5-2s. There is also a very little noticible volume drop between these two pups. also i like switching from neck pup to bridge during fast runs cause it has a wah feel to it.
