  • Unknown Duncan Designed Humbucker, help please

Does anyone know what duncan designed humbucker (bridge) simply had a small blue circular logo on the back? I have one from a 1998 ESP LTD V200 and there are no kinds other logos/labels, no model name on the back like other Duncan Designed humbuckers.

The reason I ask is because this pickup is actually *really* cool sounding and I dig it a lot. I'd like to know what this model is and what it was based off of. I've tried other "real" Duncans but they don't quite feel/sound the same as this one does.

    Thanks!

no idea. do you have a multi meter?
if so measure the dc resistance between the hot and ground wires when unattached

i'm taking a guess and say it was the 102 (the JB/jazz combo in one pup)
how does it sound though? sweet and full, or bone crushing? if it's the crushing one it can be a 103 distortion.. duncan designeds are cool for their price and if you're born under a lucky star, you can get one that has the same tone as a full blown duncan

good luck in your search (and do wnat jeremy said)
