  • Tele Wiring Assistance Needed (involves 4-way switch, split Little '59)

I'm going to swap the pickups on my tele yet again and I need some wiring assistance. I currently have a Vintage Rhythm Stack in the neck and a Hot Lead Stack in the bridge. I usually do it myself, but this time it was done by a tech and it has a 4-way switch that offers the addition of neck+bridge in series.

I've found that I just really miss the Little '59 that I used to have in it, so I am going to swap it back in, but I was thinking that I could use the 4-way switch that I now have to add the option of a more traditional tele bridge sound by splitting the Little '59.

I'd like to wire it in the following way:
    Pos. 1: Vintage Rhythm Stack
Pos. 2: Vintage Rhythm Stack in parallel with Little '59
    OR
Vintage Rhythm Stack in parallel with split Little '59
    Pos. 3: Split Little '59
    Pos. 4: Little '59

    My questions are:
    How do I wire this?
Does the Little '59 even sound good/useable when split (any volume issues)?
Which option for position 2 (see above) do you think would sound better?

    Thanks a ton guys.

    Anyone??

I have been looking around a little more and it seems I may not be able to have that coil split option just because I have a 4-way switch. I don't really understand this, but I saw that Stew-Mac sells different "Mega" or "Super" switches that allow you to do combinations not available with standard switches. Does anyone know if the simple 4-way that I have now will work or would I have to get a new switch?
