  • Has anyone used the Q Filter with a Bill Lawrence L500XL?

Right now I have this pickup in the bridge and only have a vol. control. I'm going to drill another hole to put a tone contol in as well. I'm just curious about this q filter though. If I install it, it will always have to be on and take over the tone control. So I am wondering if anyone likes it. It is supposed to create great tonal variation.
    Thanks.

Here's a thread that gives a little more info as to what it is, and how its used.

I've read the technical description and was just seeing if people thought it was a good addition.
