im looking for a good replacement bridge pickup for my ibanez 7-string. any suggestions as to what would be the best choice for a hard thrash/metal tone? thx in advance for any help.

I think a distortion would be the right pickup for your taste.
I also would suggest the JB and Custom for more versatility. If you want a fatter and agressive, brutal tone, maybe the Invader.
But in my ears it's too muddy for a 7-string.Pickups... the final frontier.

Maybe if want to check out my thread....
i guess a distortion parallel axis trembuckeri n the bridge and a full shred in the neck will give you an unholy tone for death/thrash/hrad rock stuff man.
i play black/death/thrash some fusion metal too.
