  • Parallel Axis Trembuckers.

I think I already know the answer to this question but I'll ask anyway. Are they available with covers?

Standard trembuckers are, parallel axis trembuckers aren't. One thing you could do is send in a pickup to be rewound to the specs of a parallel axis pickup. One of these days, I'm going to send in a covered humbucker and have it rewound to Blues Trembucker specs. There might be a small difference in tone due to the polepiece design, but a covered standard trembucker rewound to the specs of your favorite parallel axis pickup would probably get you 90% of the way there.

Worth a try I'll ask when I call the CS.
