  • Neck humbucker for a 'Bazz VI' style bass

I'm thinking Alnico Pro II, original trembucker(that IS different from the parallel Axis, correct?), or DiMarzio Air Zone.

All very differnt pickups, but all tones I think I'd like.

The AZ would give ultimate BOOM, the OTB would give good THUNK, the APT a more open THOOM.

    Opinions?

for a bass vi, id get something lower output with good clarity so it doesnt turn to mush. the az isnt a good neck pup for that

+1. for duncan humbuckers, jazz and full shred will be a good candidate. fender bass vi uses single coils and if i am not mistaken, they should be jaguar pickups. schecter hellcat vi, which is an 'improved' version of fender's bass vi uses mini humbuckers.
