    Yeah it's a bridge pickup, but if you were thinking of putting a JB in the neck anyway, consider the CC. I mean just look at the tone chart. Mids galore!

    Edit: Just noticed where you said that the JB's mids might kill you...did you mean "no mids whatsoever" by mids drenched? I thought you meant all mids. Anyway, if you did mean no mids...well, the '59 has some scooped mids anyway...but the Alnico II Pro has uh, more scoop. So for less mids, AIIP, for more mids, CC.
    nah i like LOTS of mids, but i thought 2 jbs together through a mesa would be overkill

        Adam stated in Guitar Player that he *may* occasionally use the neck pickup while recording, but NEVER live. He turns the neck volume to zero, and uses the toggle for on/off. His neck pickup is probably stock, and could be a Fisher Price for all it matters
