Re: Read this if you like the Air Norton

I have the AC/AN combo in my Yamaha RGX 820z and that combo is really versatile.

I tried one in a Gibson V and it sounded great.

The AN would make a good neck for a JB bridge.

I can't remember when exactly it was that I saw this thread but I put the AN in the bridge of my Schecter last week and I am still floored by it. It has great tones all across the board! Replaced an Alt8 with it and I couldn't be happier.

We'll see if it goes back in after I try out a Custom/JB hybrid... Thanks UberMetalDood

Re: Read this if you like the Air Norton

All very interesting posts. I have an Air Norton and have been toying with the idea of replacing my PG+ with it. I have an alder Strat with a maple fretboard. I want to stick with 250k pots all around. I have mine wired not like a typical Strat. I have 1 master vol and master tone for all pickups; like a Tele. The other tone pot is there for looks.

I have been told various things about the Air Norton. Most have said to NOT use it in the bridge position. In fact, here's a quote from Frank Falbo from the DiMarzio forum. I trust Frank and he knows his stuff; but it's all individual ears and taste.

            Exerpt from Frank:
