strat rails in a tele neck, can it be done?

putting a hot or cool rails in the neck of a telecaster, anyone do it? what kind of routing is necessary to facilitate something like that?

it can be done for sure. youll have to modify the pick guard and you may need to remove a little wood to get the pup in there but it shouldnt be too over the top
