  • Joe Bonamassa Signature Pickups

I recently purchased a Gibson Bonamassa ES-335. Now I'm wondering if I should grab the SD Signature pickups to replace the 57's that are stock.

Anyone have these pups in a 335?

I'd do it. '57's are okay, but not what I'd call great PU's.

What specifically would you like to change about the 57s that are in it?

I haven't tried Bonamassas but have heard great things about them. Not a fan of 57s personally.

Hey Orion1, first of all, welcome to the SD User Group Forums. We're glad to have you here.

I would echo Push_to_Shuv's advice. What is it about your current pickups that you'd like to change? Answer that question and it'll let you know if Bonamassas are the right choice, or some other pickup.
