I have to give a thumbs up to the Duncan Distortion

I have tried a bunch of different passive pickups in my Strat, and to me, the Distortion sounds the best. Bright, crunchy, not too bassy... There are still a couple more pickups I would like to try, but so far the distortion rocks.

I have the older DDJ i got here and man it is a brutal pickup! I have never heard a pickup actually sound as sinister or evil in tone as it? There is a spike in one of the frequencies that make it sound very devilish!

Probabily the full shred, if you like to tune way down. Its very clear sounding.

I have always heard since it was made for high gain it is pretty balanced across the eq

Duncan Distortion is my go-to pickup, highly dependable. You might wanna check out the PATB version.

I am interested in that one myself! I have heard tony mac use it,but he is not metal? I gotta say though the lead tone he got was really fat and clear and vocal! here listen!
