They look like Alnico II pro's to me. You have them backwars though. The "B" should be in the bridge spot and the "N" should be in the neck spot.

Im not 100% sure, but i think the "J" means they were wound by MJ in the custom shop. Good luck man

They were wound by MJ. If I'm not mistaken those are the same pickups and era, Slash has in his Derrig LP.

depends on when they were made.
There was someone else with the letter 'J'
in the first half of the 80s

Is there anyway to confirm who wound the pickup?

                    What do you mean?

It's written in black and white... "J" means Juarez, which means Maricela Juarez, head of the Seymour Duncan Co. Custom Shop and p'up winder extraordinaire.

                    Need a COA?

Maricela Juarez or "the other J" ??

And yes, I would love to have a COA

Hand-crafted electric guitar pickups, acoustic guitar pickups, bass pickups and pedals. Helping musicians find their signature sound since 1976.

Go to n. 131 and see for yourself.

The "other J" only wound stack p'ups.

Maricela Juarez wound HBs. Here's you COA.

                        DeanSweden, eat your heart out!
