    It's good!

Clear and crunchy, chewy and responsive. I also put three hex screws on the bass side and left the flathead screws on the treble side.

I previously had an A8 in this pickup, and before that, the stock ceramic. The ceramic was my least favourite. It was really harsh in the high end and didn't have much character at all.

The A8 definitely warmed it up and smoothed off the high end a bit, but it was also a bit too much output...it roared 24/7 and was pretty unrelenting. Growly low mids as well. Good for metal, but not very versatile aside from that.

Also, I know these are supposed to be based on the SH-6/Distortion, but it's a bit underwound. Mine clocks in at 15.31k.
Working...
