What is a good idea for Les paul?

ok, right now my les paul has a Distortion bridge and stock neck. i dont like the Distortion, i find it very harsh and sometimes shrill! im pretty sure that i'm going to change them out for a C5/59 combo, as i hear it sounds great in a paul. now, the question is...... what color should they be?
i dont like black on it anymore, and i dont like the look of the nickel covers.
so how would a zebra set look on it? the guitar has an AA flame maple top in a cherry sunburst. what do you guys think of the zebra set?
