59 + Distortion

Hi guys.

I have a 59B and a DistortionB.
I WANT to use them together in the same guitar.

I am thinking about results.
I have some old Dirty Fingers in neck position and I love the results.

Has anyone tried any of my two SD in neck position? How they relate in terms of volume?

the 59 B will still be a good neck pickup, nowhere near as hot as the distortion neck, although if its to bright or scooped a UOA5 or A4 magnet may help.
A distortion bridge in the neck wont be of any real use, unless you wire it split or parallel, even then it won't be as good as the 59B

I like using vintage or medium output bridge pickups in the neck as it balances great with higher output bridge pickups. I love the screamin demon as a neck pickup and its a good 10k vs an 8k Bridge 59.
