SH8n with capacitor inside ?

Hi guys,

I have buyed a set of SH8 invaders and inside the box was a note saying inside the pickup have a capacitor in serie with one of the coils, i want to know : why ? is that normal?

Its normal on SH8N's. Its just used to basically filter the eq

Anybody ever remove that cap for a tone test?
