Steve Harris bass pickup problem.

I have Fender Steve Harris bass. The lower pickup is not picking up the sound as well as the top one. The bass is lacking the volume when playing first and second string. The wiring is OK. I have connected it directly to the output to test. The top one still works OK (much louder). I have also experimented with height adjustment.

Anybody knows the correct resistance of that pickup?

I wonder if SD would send replacement....Good PR?

Do you have a picture of the coil heights that you could post? The coil for the 1st and 2nd strings might just be too low (or the other one too high).

raise the week pick up, lower the stronger pick up.
