  • Anyone here tried the Slash set in a semi-hollow?

I'm thinking they might be just the thing for my Dot. I have an A2P in the neck right now, and I like the idea of a matched set being slightly hotter. Just wanted to know if anyone else has tried this.

Never have Slash set, but A2P bridge in my Dot was awesome.

Any good PAF's, or near PAF's have been great in my semi-hollows.

I recently installed a set of Pearly Gates in my 2001 Gibson ES335, and they are incredible.

Forget everything you read about them being sizzly or whatever... they add an incredible clarity to the 335's midrange warmth.

Funny, the Slash set would be replacing a PG in the bridge. It's good, but I want something smoother and less snarly.

Be a trailblazer and go for it! You can't go wrong with Slash pickups.
