  • Air Norton Vs. Virtual PAF in teh bridge position

    Hi,
I have traded for a couple of Dimarzio buckers recently.
A Dimarzio Virtual PAF and an Air Norton.
Which would work best in the bridge of a PRS SE?
I am looking for a gritty PAF tone.

Can't speak for the Virtual PAF, but I have an Air Norton in the bridge of my Ibanez ART and it sounds fantastic, expecially through a Marshall setting.

Either will be extremely bright from my experience. It's painfully obvious (literally) why the AN makes an acceptible neck pup when you install it in the bridge.

Air Norton bridge. Don't find it bright at all. Very balsy.

The Bill Nash Les Pauls have the air norton in the bridge....
The clips that feature them sound pretty good,
