      I'm in late for the fray, however this diagram has always seemed interesting to me since it gives you the possibilities of injecting the middle single coil in series on positions 1 & 5, without having to wire a superswitch (a lot of soldering). I haven't tried it so I can't assure you that it works,but here ya go http://www.guitartechcraig.com/techwire/tech12.jpg

        Actually that diagram only uses one pole, the red lug is the common, 0, or in this case our output. You would still have an extra free pole for any wicked wiring you can think of.

          Reviewed. It should work. When the blend pot is at 0, regular strato combos, when the pot is at 10 the middle is added in series to neck or bridge in positions 1,2 and 4,5.
