  • Wiring problem lil 59 Please help

    Hi,
I’m newbie and need some help. I have just bought a Seymour Duncan little 59 pickups set (only neck and bridge) and I would like to put (Fender Texas Special Single Coil) in the middle . My question is how to mix little 59 (n and b) with this pickup in the middle. I have already installed : 1 volume A250K push/pull ,5 way Fender switch and 2x tone B250K. I ‘d like all the little 59 (n&b) pickups were hum-canceled by the 1 volume push/pull potentiometer. Could you help me with wiring process. Diagrams would be really helpful
because unfortunately none of Seymour’s wiring diagrams match my example.
    Please help

I'm not sure exactly what you are asking for, but here is a very good diagram. Does this do what you want? You don't need a push/pull with this scheme. All switch positions will be hum cancelling except position #3, the middle single coil pup by itself.

Thanks for the wiring diagram. But it is not exactly what I want. I would like to have a push/pull pot in my Fender strat, and I'm wondering how should I solder wires from 2 lil59 pickups to only one push/pull pot. So that I will have :
      Push/pull up - all 2 lil 59 pickups (bridge,neck) are singlecoils
Push/pull down -all 2 lil 59 pickups (bridge, neck) are humbuckers
Don't forget that apart from that I have a Fender pickup in the middle. I heard that there are some phase issues when mixing Seymour's and Fender pickups. Is it true ? If so what should I do to avoid that problem.
      Thanks
Sorry for my english - I'm a foreigner

        Your English is just fine.

OK. Use the first diagram that I gave you, but instead of running the red and white wires to the switch, run them to the push/pull like in this diagram...

That will give you manual control over split or series humbucker mode.

For the middle Fender pup, just reverse the wiring connection for the black and white wires.

          Thanks for your help.
Could you please look and check if my wiring diagram is done properly.
It is based on a Seymour's diagram because I don't have time to draw one by myself.
