It's very nice with an A8. I like it better than with an A5, but I like it best with a UOA5 or an A2.

I tried one with an A5 in a basswood guitar and it was ok - nice lead and clean tones. I ended up putting the stock ceramic pu back in because I preferred the punch/output in the particular instrument. As has been mentioned on a number of occasions, it works with many mags.

Sounds great with the A5 in it, I'm sure an A8 would be awesome too.
