    Out of curiosity...
    Does it matter which pot I put the bridge ground on?

    I usually put it on the vol pot on my teles since i also put the jack ground there. That said It will work to any grounded point, but theoretically star grounding is lowest noise

      As long as the bridge wire has a clear path to ground at all times, you can put it on either pot.

        The neck tone pot is the one I see most often attached to the main ground wire, probably just because it's close to it. But since all the grounds are interconnected together in one big loop, it doesn't matter which electrical part the main ground connects to. They all have to be in there. If you misss one pot or the toggle, you'll get hum.
