  • What caps go best with Seth Lover pickups?

I bought a set of Seth Lovers 4 conducter pickups for my Carvin CS6 (lp style). I want to replace the caps with some orange drop caps when I install the pickups. Should I use the .22 or .47 caps? The diagram shows a .47. My guitar came with .22 caps. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

I think Seymour just reuses the same components in the diagrams. Rule of thumb is .022 but you can always experiment.

I guess I'll try the .22 first. Thanks

        .022 for humbuckers.

I always use .022 to .01. If a guitar comes with a .047, the first thing I do is replace it. A .047 is very dull/muddy/lifeless sounding.

Not as bad as a .22

            Watch those decimal points, OP.
