No clue doc, been keepin my eye open on the sd classifieds. Thing is, I only play neck when I play "clean" Which is usually when im zooted and jammin by myself. I never think mid "run of notes that hopefully resembles a solo" to turn to neck. However I do love the sound. So many choices in SD alone it makes my brain hurt haha.

Yerp sir. Effin dyin to jam it out with whole band, my big amp. Arghhhggh!!!! I ran it thru my little amp last night, sounded good, but not the ideal platform to see how I feel.

first impression, and im horrible at describing sound, was the single notes were real juicy, and riffs had lots o' crunch. i played it thru a jcm 900 combo with extendo cab (not my amp) also too i found a tad more something in El Diablo (than i do with the usual pickups ive been using) while steppin on wah, almost like the wah was more vocal and gooey. cant really put it into actual terms tho. see what i mean? ha. Overall i am pleased.

Just food for thought but my friend runs PAF pros in the neck with his Diablo guitars, they pair up nice IMO...

ha definitely. i was skurrd for a sec that i wouldn't dig since ive only played it thru a rocktron prophesy, but that fear was killified quickly. Def wanna try some BK's next. at least just a bridge. i know you have some BK's. you said warpig and painkiller i believe? i think i could just buy any of the grittier ones and it'll slay. amiright in my assumption?

Hmm. thanks for the heads up man. right now i'm flyin hot rod style with just 1 pickup, i only really use neck when i play clean which is like once every 8-11 months or so.
