  • Were can i get a Double thick ceramic?

    I have looked EVERYWHERE for one. Any chance any of you know where i could get one or have one that you would sell to me? I really want to try one in my Custom...

      I've pulled them from other pickups mostly, Blueman sent me a couple too. I still haven't found a source for them yet. I need another too, so if you find some let me know.

      Big ceramic custom is really cool by the way.

        Could you give me a sort of description of it vs the Standard Custom?

          What if you just take two regular size Ceramics and put them in?

            I feel that that wouldnt be quite the same as a single mag.... and make the polaritys go the same way wou be a huge pain due to the whole "same poles repel" thing lol

                Was going to say mojotone too. Here's the link. You want the (2.60L x .196W x .500T). Tom at mojotone confirmed that's the specs for a big ceramic and I sized it up against some I already had and used it to make a Big Custom. Works great.
