I mounted the iphone5 to the headstock with a snakey tri-pod thingy.

Peavey classic 50 dirt channel, ds-1 modeler, duncan custom8.

Sounds like it could of been a pantera riff just add a lot more vibrato and yea. For a sec I thought you were going to play walk by pantera

The custom8 works best in this guitar, because it's lighter and less bassy. the C8 simply makes it sound bigger. The C8 can be pretty boomy in other guitars though(my MH-350 for example). The ceramic full shred is very edgy, tight and precise. I can see it being too bright in some guitars, but it does fine for me. I switch between an A8 and ceramic in this pickup. The distortion is my favorite for metal-only applications. The in-your-face "chugginess" is hard to beat.
