  • Single coil for rithmic is good or not?

I think tone of single coil is so really good. I think with JB-sh4 for a lead guitar is the best but however sound of hambucken on neck is not very good.
I think a single coil for rithmic is better than hambucken. Whitch humbucken do you suggest for hard rock?

    Thanks in advance.

What amp will you be using?

My favorite humbucker for a good hard rock sound from the bridge position is the Duncan Custom. Tight lows, aggressive mids, and plenty of highs to cut through.
    Ain't nothin' but a G thang, baby.

I actually prefer humbuckers for rhythm and single coils for leads. But what it comes down to for me is the actual tone at the time. So, for the majority of my live work, I'll blend the front and rear pups for rhythm and switch to the back for lead. Most of the time, I have the tone controls full on and the rhythm pup volume hovering at about 3 or 4, then the lead pup on full.
