Depends on the task ahead.
The A4 is crisp but sweet, matching perfectly a strong, singing A8 in the bridge, making it the best all-'rounder mag set.
You can play any kind of music with it, even the heaviest styles, if you have enough gain on tap.
But when vintage is the key word, the A3neck/UOA5bridge is hard to beat in PAFish sets, like the '59set, and I LOVE it with an Ant set.

The Jazz set sounds best with A2 mags, it should be sold stock with A2s, if you ask me.
Add this to the "new" hybrid concept becoming more mainstream, thanks to Bach2Rock, and the "sky's the limit" phrase never got more sense than now.
So many new tones to be discovered, so little time...
