thinking pretty hard about a set of '59s for my Epi Les Paul Custom. pretty sure i'll end up doing a mag swap. which of these mags have you guys tried? i currently have the Epi Probuckers and don't like them. i have put A4 mags in them and shortened the filister screws to about 1/4" long (sort of an air mod i guess). it made a noticable difference, but i just like the Duncan 59, always have. i will also be upgrading the entire wiring and control pots to a set up from Jonesyblues.com.
i am planning to get a yamaha THR10C or a fender pro jr. not sure which. for all the naysayers, i have tried a yamaha thr10, and was really surprised by the quality of sound. love the pro jr too though.
I play blues licks, classic rock, and a lot of clean, melodic stuff with reverb and delay.
