I recently picked up and American standard tele with a humbucker in the bridge and a strat style single in the neck. I immediately noticed it didn't sound sight. both pickups sound shrill and harsh. I changed them out for some duncans and the problem has persisted. any idea what it could be? I have checked the phase and it is wired correctly, but it still sounds horrible!
