Pearly Gates in the neck of an all mahogany LP. MUCH brighter than the Classic 57 even though it also has an A2 mag. Has a nice bite when pushed, and is articulate. Just what you were asking for.
If the stock Pearly is still not bright enough, put in an A4 or A5 mag.
