Jazz A4: a little update here after a couple weeks of playing with it

it def has a vintage coldness to it that is very cool, its flatter sonically overall.
the top three strings for leads it sounds fuller overall than the A5 doesnt shred as well but has alot more going on every note wants the spotlight.
on the bottom three i can actually do full sounding rhytmns on it. maybe i could of as well with the A5 but this with its vintage vibe opens a new door of playing styles for me.

I always liked A4 in a Jazz N; it's kind of a tonal Viagra, adding some meat and strength. Right now I've got mine in the bridge of a beginner's Strat, oriented like bridge pup (screws to the bridge, slugs to the neck), and it sings nicely.

I really wish I liked A4 in a Custom coil; then I could quote Jamie Hyneman and say "When in doubt, C4."
"I don't like the real world. I have to live there, and it sucks. It's drab, it's dingy, quality control is a f*cking joke, A-cups are far too prevalent, nobody can fly and all the dinosaurs are dead!" -- The Game Overthinker
