Need to choose pups for two HSS strats

I have two strats and a small load of pups to choose from. The first strat is swamp ash, all maple with floyd and the second is an American deluxe with all maple neck. The floyd would be for 70's - 80's rock and the American Deluxe would be more for 70's rock and blues. Here is what I have for pickups.
SSL-1
CS 69
Two 57/62's
Texas Special set
F spaced 59b and F spaced 78

Help me out here.

69's + 78 would be fun in the AM Deluxe. Jimi & Eddie in the same axe. Yeeooow!!!!

i think that both 59b and 78 would be shrill with a Floyd+maple neck. I'd go with something with more mids...Texas Special + Custom Custom would fatten it up nicely.
