  • WIRING HELP...PLEASE.

I am building the same Explorer kit as Man-in-the-Moon is. The kit has 3 pots and a remote 3-way switch w/two humbuckers. The owner wants straight up wiring with no coil taps or anything. He wants a volume for each pup and a tone to control both. It confuses me more because the switch is in another location and I am just really unsure as to how to wire it. If someone on here can either show me how or send me to a site that will, I would greatly appreciate it. I have done some searhing on the web w/no luck.

    Thank you.

        Re: WIRING HELP...PLEASE.

        I am wondering...just pure curiosity...

Since this is pretty basic stuff, you are obviously not a luthier nor have you even done this before. Why are you building this guitar for someone else?

For future reference, you can go to the "support" tab and find wiring diagrams for just about every wiring need.
