New Pickup Day: Bulldog Extremist

I have only had 5 minutes at a ridiculously low volume with this so far but i'm really impressed.


It's just Bulldogs Extremist model but wound a bit hotter. Also another part of my reasoning to go with this pickup in particular is the fact that i always struggle finding pickups that work in basswood RGs and this pickup was designed,voiced & tested in an original RG550.



First of all. No matter how many times i see it i still LOVE the packaging. It just adds a nice touch of class.






Ooh and look what we have here. A free PIO cap. I can't remember the brand off the top of my head. It's a really nice touch and just goes to show that Hayden likes people to get the best out of his products.

Thanks for the post. I'll be looking into them. Been gassing for a few new pickups lately and this could be an option.


the HR-II and the Extremist look interesting, as does the Hot PAF. I'm gonna ask this cat a few questions and see where it leads.
