Hi,
Which single coils in and out of the Seymour Duncan range would you suggest to get near to the sound of Doug Aldrich's Fender 69 relic?
I know he used Fender noiseless but would love to know what else would do the job, I thought maybe the BKP 'Trilogy Suite' but a friend said the Seymour Duncan 'SSL-6' would get me closer. Im using a Ducan JB in the bridge (will I need a trembucker?) I know he used the Holdsworth in his bridge.
Also what value pots should you use for hss setup?
The guitar will be ash and have a maple neck/fretboard.
Thanks
Tone at 2:40 I play with a little more gain than this so maybe a little hotter.
