Ground wire for a Telecaster Antiquity bridge pickup?

Folks, may threads on this, but do you need a ground wire for an Antiquity Tele bridge pup...not clear on this one.

welcome to the forum!

it comes stock with the baseplate grounded. you only need to add a seperate ground wire if you plan on doing some non standard wiring

Thanks. Some forums discuss about a ground wire under the baseplate, so confusing. Still getting buzzing and have checked the soldering....again..
