Blackout neck?

How does it sound? I always read comparisons between the EMG 81/85 set and the AHB-1 set, but I very much prefer a 60 to the 85, so how do those two compare? Playing mostly cleans and the occasional lead on the neck, would the Blackout neck be too high output?

Also, would the Livewire Classic ii neck make a good comparison? How is that set?

Hey dude, the EMG 60 is a single coil pickup in a humbucker casing, the Blackout neck pickup if your a EMG man is kinda like the EMG 81 neck pickup with a bit more warmth and humbucker sound, for me the Blackouts are for heavy music and soft parts for heavy music, the livewire classic II humbucker LW-CH2 witch a mate of mine has is the closet seymour active pickup that I have played that has a 60 sound to it.The classic II are not bad at all.
