  • Screamin' Demon with dual rows of slotted screws?

    Anyone tried this? How does it sound compared to stock (i.e. one row of slotted screws, one row of allen screws)?

    Yeah, it's a bit 'meh'. The different polepieces give it a bit of an airyness to it, something you otherwise wouldn't have

      Am i wrong to assume that Allens help tighten up a PU?

        Yes. The Allen heads should tighten up a pickup. A bit of that can also depend on the length of the screw....both the Allen and fillister.

          This here, although I did mine with two rows of allen screws. It made an already mannerly pickup TOO polite! Haha!
