  • Pickup suggestions for a 12string

ey guys i have a Jay Turser SG 12 string that i love.

    Basswood body and rosewood board

I really want some pickups that would make this bad boy sing and ring

Going for a classic rock sound in the bridge. For this guitar i would prefer a bridge with more bass. and a warm and fat sound in the neck

I am open to hybrids and mag swappin

If i go humbuckers ill coil split em

    I am open to P90s

    Probably medium or vintage output

I will use it for warm cleans and light to medium OD.

    Its in D standard.

For cleans i play a Marshall Class 5. For crunch and heavy crunch i play a Dark Terror

If anyone has any suggestions or questions hit me up!

    Thank you

I would think a set of Alnico II Pros would be perfect for that.

            ....and maybe a Seth Lover's?
Good luck! That classic rock ring is beautiful and since Fender no longer makes 12 string electrics (which might be relatively affordable) this leaves Rickenbackers and whew those cost lots more. Not sure if they make any better than the Rickenbacker 381/12V69 Vintage Series. Really nice!
