I happened to have a pack of those on hand. The next set will be clear coats. In the end as far as QP vs Invaders, just went with it. The QP doesn't really match up though in looks, and is quite a bit noticably lower in volume, so I may yet pick up a custom shop invader single just "because".

short of the custom shop invader single the QP is the best match to the invader poles though. a staggered vintage single coil, now that would look out of place

The Invader with the chromed poles matches the look of the slugs in the QP pretty well!

Yeah. Actually the poles match pretty good, but the flat black of the QP versus the glossy black of the Invaders is a little odd up close. Further away you can't tell though. The picture didn't really capture that.

The tone and clarity and just... everything... versus stock Ibanez pickups.. is amazing. I'm definitely sold on the idea of replacing pickups now.... *eyes the RG7621 and RG8 on the wall*
