The HFH will probably be ok, isn't it supposed to sound like a single coil?

You really need to just bite the bullet and install your EMGs.

I have this combo and it's a pretty good combo. Love the way the HFH sounds in the neck and the PAF Pro does a good evenly balanced job in the bridge. I do, however, think that the Screamin Demon does a little bit better of a job doing an updated PAF type sound. I like the PAF Pro but something just seems a little lacking....I can't tell what. Don't get me wrong it's a great pickup but I kind of liked the Demon a little better.....it had a little more bit and growl to it...just like Duncan says in the description.

It's almost as if the PAF Pro is a little too nice I think compared to the Demon...very smooth....I guess that's how I would describe it...I might be looking for something a touch more aggressive.
