  • Phat cat & Duncan Distortion?

Hey guys, has anyone tried a phat cat neck with a Duncan distortion bridge? I'm thinking about putting this combo in my Ibanez SZ320EX (heavy mahogany body, mahogany neck). Guitar is black and I'm thinking chrome covers and cream rings. I will probably put the center position of the switch with autosplit on the DD.

    Thanks
    -Greg

Phat Cats are very dark in the neck slot in warm and/or mahogany guitars. They have A2 magnets and that often results in very little treble. If you want a P-90 in the neck slot, I'd recommend a GFS Mean 90 (which has A5 magnets).

"Wait, I know! Blueman and Lew can arm wrestle, and the winner gets to decide if 250K pots sound good or not."

      +1. Mean 90 with A5's.
