Ok. Today I finally played a Black Winter, unless it was wired wrong, it was NOTHING like my Custom Shop Tyrannotitan, or even a DD sh6 (the TT is based on a DD for those who haven't read me carrying on about this pickup before).
Albiet that the BW is in a Jackson USA Soloist with a floyd ( I think they're typical super strat material, alder body and maple neck????) and my SD custom shop Tyrannotitans are in my custom made Grubisa Guitars with brazilian mahogany body and neck, the BW is loud and obnoxious and I can see it's for black metal, the Tyrannotitan is soooo Thrash Metal its not funny. The BW has less o/p than the TT, of course I checked the pickup heights.
So there ya go.... so wrong was I. Still will be doing video clips soon...
