Cool Rail for RG570?

Looking to replace the middle pup in my early 90's RG570. I had an old 2 wire Cool Rail in another guitar in the neck pos, I pulled it out of there and put it in the bridge pos of my strat, which I love. I'm thinking that pup can do no wrong. Now I THINK I want one in the middle pos of my RG570.
Thoughts?
