  • Fire Blackouts low volume issue

Hello all. I have the Gus G Fire Blackouts installed in a Schecter Solo-6 Custom. Great set of pickups. I am however experiencing an issue, but it doesn't happen all the time. I mostly play the bridge, but sometimes I use the neck pickup. On occasion, when I switch to the neck, the volume is extremely low. I can switch back to bridge and it be fine, then I'll switch back to the neck and it is working normally. Is this an issue with the toggle switch? I didn't upgrade the toggle when I upgraded the pickups.

It could be a switch issue.

      Sounds like the switch.

I recently had the same problem with a set of Blackouts. I traced it to the input jack wiring connection.

Thanks for the input all. I don't know if it would be the jack, as I do not touch it, but I will check it out.
